This afternoon Year Six children learned about the very great and lasting legacy the Ancient Greeks left Western culture.
When trying to decide what part of this incredible inheritance has had most impact, a fantastic debate took place with the students showing just how much they have enjoyed learning about this classical civilisation. With persuasive arguments for medical advancements facing careful thoughts on language and the alphabet - alongside strong views on drama, architecture, geometry and astronomy - we were all convinced of one thing: we owe the Ancient Greeks a debt of gratitude!
