Year 2: Bye Bye Chicks!

For the last two weeks year 2 have been caring for the chicks that have very quickly been growing.
It has been so interesting watching them go from eggs, to hatchlings, to chicks with proper wing feathers! We've had lots of great discussions about their changing needs, how they're growing and what they'll look like in the future.

We've also enjoyed lots of chick cuddles - although the bigger they became, the feistier they were!

The chicks are being rehomed by a member of staff, so we'll look forward to getting updates on their lifecycle.
