Writing inspired by Zoo, by Anthony Browne!

 This week, our writing has been inspired by the book, Zoo, by Anthony Browne. We read through the humorous story and then broke down the story into different sections to focus our writing. As talented year 5 writers, we then improved the different sequences to the story, ensuring we were including year 5 writing targets, such as, relative clauses, subordinate clauses and parentheses for extra information. The children also thought really carefully about their vocabulary choices. Here is our journey so far...
